Halloween time

I spent several hours each afternoon this week dragging boxes of Halloween decorations from the garage. The halls are almost completely decked in their Halloween glory.

This is a pic from several years ago and one of my favorites, I rescued Kit Kat when she was a tiny kitten. She was always small but she had a quiet attitude that our other cats respected. She was nearly 20 years old when she passed a few years ago.

Down time

We’re back from vacation and I’m a little under the weather.  I don’t know if it’s allergies, the hot Arizona weather or post vacation blues, probably a combination of all of them.  Regardless, I am certainly not on my game.  I think I need some time to decompress and not think about all of the things that still need to be done.  Seems like a good time for some Netflix marathoning.

During the summer, my daughter and I have been watching reruns of older shows on a local channel.  It’s been fun to see shows like The Rockford Files, The Mod Squad, Love Boat and Adam-12, among some others.

We’ve really enjoyed Adam-12 but we had just jumped in when we found it on TV.  This afternoon my super smart daughter found the entire series on Netflix.  I guess I’ll be spending the rest of the day with Malloy and Reed.  “One Adam-12.  Clear.”
